Bitcoin Events has announced that Crypto Fest and Blockchain Africa Conference will return in 2024.

The Crypto Fest will take place over three days in Cape Town from 10th to 12th October.

Blockchain Africa Conference will take place in Pretoria on 20th November with a networking event happening in Cape Town on 22nd November.
The Blockchain Africa Conference and Crypto Fest events will be returning to South Africa in November and October respectively.

These events are organised by Bitcoin Events and bring together experts, newcomers and trailblazers in the web3 ecosystem.

Starting with Crypto Fest, for the first time the event will span three days from 10th to 12th October. The conference will take place at the DHL Stadium in Green Point, Cape Town. As many as 15 sessions are planned for the event with a Cape Town Winelands Tour planned for the final day of the conference.

Then, on the opposite side of the country, the Blockchain Africa Conference will take place on 20th November. This will be the 10th iteration of the conference and as such, it will feature a vibrant array of industry leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, developers, innovators, and enthusiasts from across Africa.

The Blockchain Africa Conference will take place at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria but Bitcoin Events isn’t leaving Capetonians out of the loop.

“As an extension of the conference, a networking event will be held in Cape Town on November 22, 2024, offering attendees the chance to connect with the vibrant Cape Town Web3 community,” the organisers announced.

“From exploring the impact of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) on Africa’s digital economy to navigating the intricate regulatory landscapes unique to South Africa, participants will glean invaluable insights into the dynamic African crypto terrain. Furthermore, the events will illuminate emerging trends in cryptocurrencies, highlighting their implications on both micro and macro levels. Additionally, the transformative potential of stablecoins in African markets and the innovative tokenization of real-world assets within the continent will be thoroughly explored,” Bitcoin Events reports.

Tickets for both conferences are available right now.

For Crypto Fest, launch tickets are R425 with a Gourmet Galaxy ticket – which includes “snack-style festival bites” – retailing for an additional R380.

The Blockchain Africa Conference is selling early adopter tickets for R1 100 with a catering ticket costing an additional R790.

Ticket prices will increase as we get closer to the event so be sure to purchase tickets sooner rather than later. VIP tickets for each event will be made available at a later date.

“Whether you’re a seasoned blockchain enthusiast well-versed in Africa’s crypto ecosystem or new to the space, the Crypto Fest and Blockchain Africa Conference provides a unique platform to learn, connect, and draw inspiration from the visionaries shaping Africa’s digital future,” the organisers state.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are currently in the spotlight thanks to a halving event and historically high prices. If you’re finding yourself intrigued by the technology and solutions within the web3 sphere, then these conferences may be worth attending.
